2k12 Korean Music Festival

Haven't blogged in awhile but I'm back again... lol

I'm soo soo happy, went out to the first ever Kpop "concert" in Toronto! Featured Apink, TeenTop, G.Na and Brian Joo. I didn't know much about them and the songs they sang but prior to going I listening to their tracks. 

I just screamed and jumped a lot, like any other fangirl lol, except I don't really know them xD

I didn't bring my DSLR but I think I should have.. except if I actually brought it my arm would be extremely sore, more sore than they are right now! I have some pictures and fan cams of course :)

They all performed great live, but some groups are totally underrated which makes me a little sad! 

Also.. I am not that familiar with Brian Joo, I just know he's in the variety shows a lot but as soon as I heard him speak I knew he was American based on his English accent. He is very funny and seems extremely nice as well - he claims that he is old but ... I doubt it lol

Early Birthday Celebration

My Birthday is this upcoming Sunday but I have been slammed with assignments and midterms so I am unable to party in that day :(. My friend was in a similar situation except her birthday landed right before Lunar New Year, and we know how our Asian parents would flip out if we went out during that day/night.  We both decided to celebrate our birthday on the same day! We didn't want to get too crazy because our fellow friends had midterms the following week.  It was really nice to hang out with everyone once in a while :)

We went to Joe Badali's for Winterlicious. For those who do not know what Winterlicious is, it is basically a week where it gives people an opportunity for people to try out new restaurants for a low cost and is it a pre fixed 3 course meal as well!  I found that Joe Badali's was either a hit or a miss, however I chose some pretty good dishes.  I had a slight variation of something that was similar to Chicken Parmesan, a mushroom cream chowder and a white chocolate cake. 

After dinner we went to Bar+ for karaoke :) If you have the VIP card you and your group of friends can get a free complimentary birthday shot! I had a polar bear and the others had a pornstar and blue lagoon. The polar bear was sooo good <3 Tasted exactly like a mint chocolate ice cream but in liquid form!

Drugstore Makeup Haul

My first haul of 2012 :D I have yet to swatch or use them! I really like the Almay eyeshadows I picked up, I swatched some of the colours and they are so pretty! I hope they look just as nice when I actually use them!
I also bought Annabelle pigments, 3 pigments + a mini brush! They are gorgeous I can't wait to try them out though I have no experience with using pigments, so I'm not really sure how to use it :S

Happy New Years!

Happy new years! I know I'm 2 weeks late! I was really busy during my 3 weeks of holiday!

I think it went by way too fast, and I'm already drowning in school work... Maybe I shouldn't have taken 7 courses this semester @@

Over the holidays I went a little crazy shopping, especially during Boxing Day which is similar to Black Friday in the states but the sales aren't as crazy! Majority of the items I bought were clothes we didn't have any sales on makeup and beauty items over here :/ Over these months I have added many new items to my makeup collection I think I will be posting a picture of it shortly along with other miscellaneous times I have gotten~~
