Review: Daiso Pore Care Pack

I bought this Daiso Pore Care Pack during my trip to Los Angeles last year, I finally decided to try it out when I ran out of my favourite Biore Nose Strips. They have the same concept at the Biore Strips and many other products pertaining to the removal of black heads on the nose! I have a another review on nose strips by The Face Shop here!

Daiso is a 100 Yen Store in Japan where it originated from, its basically a dollar store but not in North America (Canada & US). It is more along the lines of $1.50 to $3 Store, they have a great variety of things. The only Daiso' in Canada are located in British Columbia and Eastern parts of the US, there is an abundance of locations in Asian though.

I purchased this 4 pack for $1.50 in the Daiso located in the Korean district of Los Angeles. These are a steal compared to the Biore ones. These nose strips are made of natural charcoal as the package claims, which is supposed to be good for the skin.

These are the 4 that came in the box! The instructions and ingredients are written in Japanese and English!

Unlike the Biore Strips these do not have slits to fit the curvatures of the nose, especially the pointed part of the nose, I simply make a small rip and it totally works. The strips are black because of the use of charcol, and yes you can definitely smell it as well. It is not the best smell but it is manageable.

This is the result after leaving the strip on my nose for 20 minutes. It didn't hurt to remove the strip like many others. I feel that it did a decent job but there was still some black heads on my nose. The strip was easy to remove, there wasn't any struggles, that's probably why I feel that my nose wasn't as clean as if could have been. The nose strips didn't  adhere to my nose a strongly as I would have like. However if you don't have many blackheads or little dirties on your nose this will do just fine! If you live near a Daiso why don't you check it out!
